More ABOUT
FreezFlow
During the winter season, when the temperature outside drops below freezing, the outdoor discharge line of your sump pump can become blocked with snow or ice. This blockage could cause your sump pump to remain stuck in the “on” position, as the water level in the basin won’t be discharged outside. This constant running with a blocked pipe could lead to sump pump failure.
Adding FreezFlow to the outside discharge line helps prevent basement flooding due to a frozen outdoor line.
FreezFlow connects the 1½” discharge from the sump pump to the larger 4” line outside. It features specially designed vents that allow water to flow through even if the outside line is blocked with snow or ice. Additionally, if your storm sewers become overwhelmed during heavy rain, FreezFlow will help prevent a backup by dispersing the excess stormwater.
